# How to add Utilities

Whether you are publishing a Public or a Protected Post, you can add Utilities to posts. Follow these steps:

1. **Click on your profile picture** in the top right corner of the page.
2. Go to "**My Board**."
3. Just under your banner, locate "**Type Something**" and click on it to open the Creating Post interface.
4. Add your Post Title.
5. Include a description for your post.
6. Add a cover image to make your post visually appealing.
7. Once you've filled in the details, click "**Next**."
8. **Select the type of utility** you want to share with your community:
   * Photo
   * External Video
   * Secret Code
   * Calendly Link
   * File
   * URL
9. Click "**Next**."
10. If you're publishing a Public Post, simply click "Publish Content" to instantly share your creation with the world.
11. For Protected Posts, navigate to the membership tab. Select the specific membership(s) required for access, whether it's a single membership, a customized group, or an alternative membership option.
12. Then click "**Publish Content.**"
